Each week we provide a recording of the Wallingford Herald on digital memory stick. This provides a spoken version of local news for people who are visually impaired or have other problems that make reading a newspaper difficult.

Each listener will be provided with a special digital player free of charge, and will be shown how it works.

We also produce a more light-hearted monthly magazine recording with selected items from local village magazines, including the ‘Window for Wallingford’.

I am sad to announce that our newest producer John Parsons has died after serious kidney problems. John only joined the TN in November 2019, and soon came on to the committee taking on the publicity role, where he produced and started to distribute a new leaflet. He was recording from home within days of lockdown starting. John always had a smile and an enthusiasm to get on with the job. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and colleagues.
