Main ContentDo you, or someone you know, have trouble reading a newspaper?
If so, get in touch with us for a free weekly recording of the local newspaper, delivered by post.
Each week we provide a recording of the Wallingford Herald on digital memory stick. This provides a spoken version of local news for people who are visually impaired or have other problems that make reading a newspaper difficult.
Each listener will be provided with a special digital player free of charge, and will be shown how it works.
We also produce a more light-hearted monthly magazine recording with selected items from local village magazines, including the ‘Window for Wallingford’.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, we are recording the Talking Newspaper remotely.
Here are Keith, John, Kate and Roger in their respective "home recording studios".
